Trade mission promotes Jalisco in Japanese cities

Foto: Crestomatía | In order to settle projects with Japanese potential investors, a committee from Jalisco started on Thursday a working tour in the cities of Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan.

The activities of the trade mission are headed by the governor Sandoval Aristotle, as well as by the Economic Development Minister, Jose Palacios Jimenez, and the director of the Institute for the Promotion of Foreign Trade of Jalisco (JALTRADE, for its acronym in Spanish), Ruben Resendiz Perez.

The state Economic Development Ministry (Sedeco, for its acronym in Spanish), reported that in this tour through Japan they plan to consolidate new investments and an industrial approach is contemplated.

Within the promotion strategy, the government delegation of Jalisco will visit 17 Japanese companies from different sectors such as high technology, mechanical metal industry and pharmaceutical industry.

Also it will hold three seminars and a round table with the participation of top executives of various Japanese companies, to introduce them the opportunities and competitive advantages offered by the state of Jalisco.

The delegation will also hold a meeting with the Ambassador of Mexico in Japan, Carlos Almada López, and various representatives of the business sector. The business tour ends on September 30.
