The Revenue Executive Director of Aeromexico, Anko van der Werff said that more than one thousand 300 weekly seats will be offered between the two destinations and to a North American city that has promoted and developed the automotive sector.
In a statement, he said that Detroit becomes the 18th destination of the airline in the United States and the sixth internationally, departing from Monterrey, joining New York, Houston, San Antonio, Las Vegas and Denver (seasonal).
“This flight will provide more and better connectivity options not only in northern Mexico, but all the Bajio region and center of the country, mainly to cities such as Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi, Leon, Puebla, Toluca, Queretaro, among others,” he said.
Thus, Aeroméxico strengthens its routes from Terminal B of the Monterrey International Airport, considered the second most important hub of the airline, and that currently has direct operations to 20 destinations in Mexico and six in the US soon.
